Dr Joanne Paul is an award-winning historian, consultant and writer with a passion for sharing her research on Renaissance and Tudor history. She has consulted for television with TLC and Amazon and appeared on a variety of programmes, including for BBC, Channel 5 and TLC. Having published academically on topics including Shakespeare, the English Civil War and the Tudor court, her first trade book, The House of Dudley was a bestseller and named a book of 2022 by The Times, The Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph and History Today. The Wall Street Journal hailed it as ‘the Tudor Game of Thrones’ and ‘the Corleones in doublet and hose’.
