Jackson Bistrong

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jackson Bistrong is a recent graduate of Connecticut College, where he earned his BA in History with a minor in Classics. His research interests focus on 19th and 20th century American history, particularly television/film, sports, and media and their intersection with gender, race, and sexuality. Jackson is also a preschool teacher at a Montessori school in New York’s Upper West Side and he resides in Brooklyn. He enjoys watching sports, listening to music and podcasts, reading, watching HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and going to stand up comedy shows.
